Summer is just around the corner, and we’ve packed June with exciting activities, special celebrations, and memorable experiences for our daycare and boarding guests. From sensory games and themed parties to crafts and community partnerships, there’s something for every pup to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s what’s happening at The Modern Dog this June!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re kicking off the month with a colourful Pride Party! Dogs will enjoy festive themed activities, and plenty of tail-wagging fun as we celebrate love, inclusion, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of our most anticipated events is back! Dogs can participate in our famous Doughnut Dash, where they’ll try to grab a doughnut hanging from a string. The hilarious action will be streamed live on our Facebook page so pet parents can cheer on their pups from anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Friendships are what daycare is all about! On Best Friend Day, we’ll be celebrating the special bonds our dogs build with their canine companions through group photos and friendship-themed fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Watermelon Crawl combines enrichment, scent work, and tasty rewards. For a small donation, dogs can participate in a sensory search featuring watermelon-themed surprises. It’s a fun way to challenge their noses while supporting a good cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our boarding guests are in for a cozy evening! Boarding pups will enjoy a dog-friendly movie night complete with comfy beds, cuddles, and special “popcorn” treats from Bosco & Roxy’s available at a discounted price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Celebrate the dog dads in your life! Throughout the week, daycare dogs will create special Father’s Day keepsakes that will be ready for pickup before the big day. These handmade crafts make the perfect gift from your four-legged family member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Strike a pose! We’ll be setting up fun photo opportunities so daycare dogs can show off their best smiles and personalities. Keep an eye on our social media channels to see the adorable results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re thrilled to partner with Pawlish Smiles to offer non-sedation dental cleaning services at The Modern Dog. This is a great opportunity for pet parents to help maintain their dog’s oral health in a comfortable and stress-free environment. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re celebrating all of our June birthdays and gotcha days with a special party! Dogs will enjoy treats, games, photos, and plenty of attention as we recognize their special milestones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’ll finish the month by serving up some tennis-themed fun inspired by Wimbledon. Expect themed enrichment activities, and plenty of opportunities for dogs to show off their athletic skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
