At The Modern Dog Kitchener, our daycare offers a safe, structured, and enriching environment where dogs can play, socialize, and burn energy under expert supervision. With three spacious playrooms grouped by size, playstyle and temperament, we provide off-leash, open-play fun tailored to each dog’s needs. Your pup will go home happy, tired, and ready for a good nap.

🛡️ Safety First
All dogs must pass a meet & greet to ensure they’re a good fit for our open-play environment. Dogs over 7 months must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
🧼 Spa Add-Ons
Add a spa session to your pup’s day! We offer baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and more—because nothing beats coming home with a clean, happy dog.

At The Modern Dog Kitchener, boarding isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s a staycation for your pup. Our overnight guests enjoy full access to our off-leash, open-play environment during the day, socializing and exercising alongside our daycare dogs. After a fun-filled day, they rest comfortably in a familiar, safe space they know and trust.
We don’t use kennel runs. Instead, we focus on supervised, structured play by day, and cozy, quiet rest by night. It’s the perfect balance of fun and comfort—where your dog can make new furry friends and go home tired, happy, and relaxed.
To ensure your dog’s stay is smooth and stress-free, we recommend bringing their regular food, medications, and optional bedding from home. Our team is trained to maintain routines that support both physical and emotional well-being.

• We require 3 days of daycare before boarding
• Check in – before 2pm (Mon-Fri) and before 11am on Saturday
• Check out – before 11am (Mon – Sat). Full day of daycare will be charged for pickups after 11am.
• Sunday check out available at 10 am only ($30 check out fee would apply ) . Please email or call us for booking
